Das Starterset ist eins von zwei Sets, die wir von EverEarth für unsere Kinder bestellt haben.Neben der Werbung für Nachhaltigkeit war uns auch wichtig eine Spielzeugeisenbahn zu finden, die nicht irgendwelche Geräusche macht und einen immensen Batterieverschleiß hat.Die schienen sind gut gefertigt und lassen sich gut stecken. Die zwei Sets sind wie versprochen kompatibel. Der Zug im Starterset ist größer als der aus dem Farm-Set, beide passen aber problemlos unter der Brücke durch, die es auch von EverEarth gibt. Die Züge werden mit Magneten aneinander gehalten. Für die Kinder war es ein großes Vergnügen herauszufinden, dass man die Züge mit der einen Seite verbinden und mit der anderen Seite voreinander her schieben kann. Erste Physikgrundlagen kann man also auch gut vermitteln. Die Autos können auch auf den Schienen fahren. Die Räder der Züge und enthalten Einsatzautos sind aus Plastik und mit Metallstiften in den Fahrzeugen festgesteckt. Mich persönlich stört es nicht so sehr, bisher hält alles an Ort und Stelle und fährt sich gut in den Schienen. Aber eine reine Holzeisenbahn wäre natürlich noch schöner gewesen. Für mich aber auch kein Grund, einen Punkt abzuziehen.Der Versand war schneller als angegeben und problemlos. Die Verpackung bestand nur aus Holz und Papier und war so sparend angesetzt, dass kein grundloser Materialaufwand betrieben wurde. Also kein kleiner Zug in einem riesengroßen Karton.Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können diese Eisenbahnreihe nur weiterempfehlen.

We choose this model as EverEarth products are supposed to be eco friendly, fcs wood, non toxic toys but also a big reason was that this table said 100% beech wood which seems sustainable for wear with kids. When we were gonna assembly the table we realized it is not at all 100% beech wood. It is made out of MDF, with laminate that imitates beech and painted MDF.
Very disappointing. I could have bought a similar trainable for half the price with a wooden railway set.

Also the plastic that covers the edges isn't really cut nicely.

The only positive thing with this table is that the boards have 2 sides so you can switch the table between farmland and roads.
